1971 - 2004: THE YEARS OF DIVERSIFICATION

By the end of the 1960s the market had begun to grow rapidly. In order to satisfy increasing demand, Lagostina began diversifying its product lines, extending production to kitchen utensils.These not only differ in their design, but extensive research has improved their every aspect: aesthetics, practicality, use and obviously, performance while cooking.This led, for example, to the creation of the Pastaiola model which, due to its vast success, found its way into the Italian language. Three years later, the “Accademia” family products was created as the brand’s premium line. Thanks to the creativity of its engineers and designers, Lagostina has become a major leader in stainless steel cookware.
